# News

> Fetch general, company-specific, country-specific, and category-specific news articles.

The `client.news` namespace provides access to financial news articles across multiple dimensions: global headlines, company mentions, geographic focus, and topic categories.

## Methods

### `general`

Returns a stream of general financial news articles. No parameters required.

articles = client.news.general()
for article in articles[:5]:
    print(article["title"])
    print(article["publisher"])
    print(article["link"])
    print()
```

### `company`

Returns news articles that mention a specific company.

### `country`

Returns news articles focused on a specific country.

### `category`

Returns news articles for a specific topic category.

  Use `company()` for ticker-specific news monitoring and `general()` for broad market headline feeds.
